Eyes in the Sky..the Spying Drones

“Look! Up in the sky! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s … a drone, and it’s watching you. That’s what privacy advocates fear from a bill Congresspassed this week to make it easier for the government to fly unmanned spy planes in U.S. airspace.
The FAA Reauthorization Act, which President Obama is expected to sign, also orders theFederal Aviation Administration to develop regulations for the testing and licensing of commercial drones by 2015…”
Comments:
Years ago, we warned of this type of totalitarian intrusions of privacy in a sermon called “Eye in the Sky.” The world is stage setting for Revelation 13.

iPhone keeps record of everywhere you go
Privacy fears raised as researchers reveal file on iPhone that stores location coordinates and timestamps of owner’s movements
Security researchers have discovered that Apple‘s iPhone keeps track of where you go – and saves every detail of it to a secret file on the device which is then copied to the owner’s computer when the two are synchronised.
The file contains the latitude and longitude of the phone’s recorded coordinates along with a timestamp, meaning that anyone who stole the phone or the computer could discover details about the owner’s movements using a simple program…”
Airports fondle women and children who refuse radiation
Airport officers fondle women and children who refuse radiation and naked body scanners. Male officers are patting down women’s private areas, with hands and palms. Wake up America. Where are the fathers and husbands?

Feds admit to storing body scan images
“…For the last few years, federal agencies have defended body scanning by insisting that all images will be discarded as soon as they’re viewed. The Transportation Security Administration claimed last summer, for instance, that “scanned images cannot be stored or recorded.” Now it turns out that some police agencies are storing the controversial images after all. The U.S. Marshals Service admitted this week that it had surreptitiously saved tens of thousands of images recorded with a millimeter wave system at the security checkpoint of a single Florida courthouse.
1000 airport body scanners coming next year?
“Today, there are 134 imaging technology units in use at 38 airports. But by next year and beyond, 1,000 of them will likely be deployed around the country.”

The above article raises the debate about children being viewed naked by these scanners. The UK has banned scans of anyone under 18 since it would be a violation of child pornography laws! Interesting. What is it, then, when a man’s adult wife is viewed? If words mean anything, this must be “adult” pornography, and therefore it is considered “legal.” If Americans allow this, they will embrace almost anything.
Surprise: Video Games Hinder Academic Learning
“Parents who buy their children a video game system might want to be careful that all the fun doesn’t interfere with their learning. A new study suggests owning a game system could hinder academic development, at least for young boys. The results show that boys given a PlayStation II are slower to progress in their reading and writing skills and have more learning problems reported by their teachers than those not given a system. The study is the first controlled trial to look at the effects of playing video games on learning in young boys. That is to say, the findings aren’t based on survey data of kids’ game habits, but instead on a specific group of children that were randomly assigned to receive a PlayStation or not, and followed up for a certain period of time…”
